Soft-shell vest, well studied design for a flattering shape whilst integrated airbag

Helite's unique airbag shape inflates a big volume of protection that will absorb shocks and stabilize the whole upper body from head to tailbone.

Our engineering team develops highly reliabe airbag solutions, our airbag is then 100% made in our factory in Dijon, France.

The key-ball lanyard is a part of the airbag. In case of fall, the key-ball separates from the airbag which triggers the system.

For safety reasons, more reliability and faster inflation it is important to correctly install and use the saddle attachment.

The size of the CO2 canister is proportional to the size of the airbag. The canister is the only component that needs to be replaced after inflation of your air vest.

An additional protective PVC Plate and foam is placed behind the canister so that it cannot injure the rider.

2 useful exterior pockets.

This model is available in several colours: black/blue, black/grey, blue/red.

The technical fabric 'Tekseries' is windproof and waterproof and the stretch fabric allows for tight fitting.

Stretchy soft-shell for a tight and comfortable fit.

The triggering system and cartridge are nicely hidden inside the shell.

The AIR SHELL vest is compatible with the Zip'in Airbag. It takes 3 second to combine the shell and the airbag.
The Helite equestrian airbag systems integrate the same airbag (models: AIRNEST & ZIP'IN).
Yes, the AIR SHELL gilet (after removing the zip'in airbag) can be machine washed at max. 30°C, do not put it in the dryer. The Zip'in airbag can only be gently hand washed with water and soap, without sinking the airbag system fully in water. A good tip to wash your airbag is to hang it on a hanger under the shower and gently spray, leave it hanging for it to dry.
For optimal protection, we recommend it is always worn on top of every other garment. An equestrian clothing over the AIR SHELL can obstruct the normal deployment of the airbag and slow down the time of inflation.

Yes, you can wear a level 3 body protector (or something similar) under your Zip'in airbag. If you also ride only with your airbag alone and not wear body protector, the Soft-shell will be big for you (except if you wear a big winter coat under), but it's not a safety problem, it's only a question of aesthetics and comfort.

Every airbag comes with a user guide. The user guide will explain you how to use and take care of your equestrian airbag, how to install the lanyard and reactivate your system after inflation.
Our team is at your service, even after your purchase if you have any doubt about the correct use of your inflatable body protector.
